“Enceladus” is the brandnew EP by HECQ, which got it’s name from a collab track between Hecq and myself. I can honestly say, that I absolutely LOVE the outcome of this collaboration.

The flipside is covered with a lot of square bass from HECQs tune Instahead, finalized by two remixes by Mobthrow and the Knight Riderz. Lovely stuff!

So, why am I happy about this?

First of all, Ben aka HECQ is a great guy and a god of sound, I really love his work.

Second: The title track “Enceladus” is a collab between HECQ and myself and I really love the outcome. Some of you already got a glimpse of what it sounds like at my recent LiveSets – it’s a banger.

The EP also features another HECQ bomb plus remixes by the Knight Riderz and a killing machine by Mobthrow.

‘The Panic Girl Remixes’ join together dBridge, Phace, Duo Infernale, Skyence, as well as newcomer Sone.

The base for all their remixes was Panic Girl’s ‘Burn And Rise EP’ which was published on shadybrain in early 2010.

Phace gets the EP going with his trademark machine-funk sound twisting up the title track ‘Burn And Rise’, while Duo Infernale burn a deep but dancefloor oriented fireworks of Panic Girl’s ‘Hide And Seek’. dBridge himself then extracts the essence of ‘Blue Lights’, taking the listener to a place dark as eternal night. The release is completed by two non Drum and Bass tunes by Skyence and Sone, the first one delivering finest electronica with a wonky groove, while Sone is unleashing a monster of mashed up Dubstep.

After about 4 years spent pumping fresh blood in the dubstep scene and winning enough respect for that, DubKraft Records decided to approach the end of the decade with a new ethos and a more interesting approach. 
From now on we won’t address just one scene, but that niche of electronic music lovers who appreciate Bass, Spirit and Character in a track. 
The main goal is now only to create intense emotions for the listener, to leave an emotional scar in the best possible meaning. 

In order to achieve that better we’ll also address more senses by getting support from artists in other fields of creative work besides music. 
You will still be able to recognize the DubKraft sound and releases will maintain a certain coherence, but creative freedom will be almost total. 
A forming core of eclectic artists will sit at the base of the project while others will join as occasional guests.

We start this new era with our first uptempo release, based on breakbeats ranging 160 to 175 bpm, with minimalistic sounds and infusions from dub, glitch, jungle and techno. 

The tracks are already receiving appreciation and support from top cats across the scenes, like Loxy, Gremlinz, June Miller, Migrant, Fine Cut Bodies, Nerm (BBC), Rogue State and more.
